Get a great domain name

Resources

Marketplaces

These are the main places to browse and buy registered domain names. The same domain can be listed on multiple marketplaces at different prices, so it’s worth checking more than one.

Sedo

One of the oldest and largest marketplaces. Huge inventory, though it includes a lot of low-quality listings too. The search filters are powerful — filter by dictionary words, max price, and exclude dashes or numbers to cut through the noise.

Afternic

Owned by GoDaddy, Afternic is one of the largest marketplaces with millions of listings. If you visit a domain and see a for-sale page without a price, it’s often powered by Afternic. Search for the domain on Afternic directly — you might find the actual asking price listed there. They also offer lease-to-own options on some listings.

Sav

Atom

Formerly Squadhelp. A curated selection of brandable domain names, often with logos included. Higher prices, but you spend less time sifting through low-quality options.

Brandbucket

Similar to Atom — curated brandable names at premium prices. Good if you’re looking for something creative and ready-to-use.
